The first publication of the collection of novellas thatincludes the storiesDebutant, Young Dônč and Music.
The book Young Dônč confirmed Pišťanek as the most outstanding author of the after-1989 era and it deepened the cult-like status of his writing. Since it came out only two years after his Rivers of Babylon, it also made readers believe that this was a continuation of the poetics of the former book. Grotesque, absurd and cruelly ironic, thetexts offer a condescendingly ruthless view of an equally ruthless reality.
