The prestigious Polish literary monthly Literatura na Świecie awards its annual translation prizes, and this time, the name of a author is included.
The Literatura na Świecie prize has been in existence since 1972. It is awarded in seven categories and has for years been one of the most prestigious awards for translators of world literature into Polish.
The prize in the fiction category went to Miłosz Waligórski for his translation of Peter Balko's novel ØٰDZ! Congratulations!
The members of the jury were Andrzej Kopacki, Maciej Libich, Krzysztof Majer, Kamil Piwowarski, Andrzej Sosnowski, Marcin Szuster (chairman), Anna Wasilewska, Karolina Wilamowska and Łukasz Żebrowski.
