Monika Kompaníková - together with the illustrator Veronika Holecová and the graphic designer Martina Rozinajová - has created an original children’s book full of delightful illustrations. It was awarded the title Most Beautiful Book of ia in 2013.
Imagine the water world below the sea level. Fish, octopuses, jellyfish, mermaids, crustaceans, gastropods, gigantic mammals, submarines and one or two bathyscaphes all swim in a pot of well salted plankton soup. And all the way down lies the sea-bed. At the bottom of the deepest trench, at a depth of more than ten thousand meters, on the northern edge of the Pacific Ocean, where sunrays, divers, submarines, or even Japanese pearl hunters can't reach – you will find nothing at all. Well, aside from the lazy fish Biba with her broken teeth and her friend Rado, the snake whose lantern never works and other mysterious inhabitants of this fairy-tale world.
