The short novel Tichý režim / Silent Mode (2013) tells two simultaneous stories: one is about the love affair turned long-distance relationship between Helena and Miky, a New Yorker, and the other about Helena's social-media powered relationship with a stalker. In this work, Modrovich tries to penetrate the psychological processes of both the stalker and the victim, and to reflect on the various forms love can have.
