Screen writer and fiction writer, Staviarsky has graduated from the Film and TV Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). Since 2000 he has focused on fiction writing. His debut,聽碍颈惫补诲别谤听(2007), a novella set among the Roma, and his collection of short fiction聽窜谩肠丑测迟办补听(Sobering-Up Station, 2009) were both nominated for the Anasoft Litera Award. The novella聽Kale top谩nky聽(A Lovely Pair of Shoes, 2012), mapping the microcosm of Roma businessmen, won the Anasoft Litera 2013. Staviarsky has also written two feature-films with his son. His most recent books are聽膶lovek pr铆jemn媒聽(Homo Pleasantus, 2014),聽Rinaldova cesta聽(Rinaldo鈥檚 Way, 2015) and聽碍拧别蹿迟聽(The Deal, 2019). He lives in 笔谤别拧辞惫.
