Veronika DIANIŠKOVÁ was born on 21 February 1986 in Bratislava. She studied at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, majoring in theatre directing and dramaturgy. From September 2007 to June 2008 she was on a study placement with a focus on theatre dramaturgy in Lisbon. After successful completion of her bachelor studies(bachelor thesis: Dramatic Tension in the Prose of Gabriel García Márquez), she has continued her master studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in theatre dramaturgy. She works as a teacher of literature and drama at anArt School in Bratislava. She has publishedher texts in periodicals (Revue aktuálnej kultury, Slovenské pohľady, LET, Dotyky), presentedthem on the radio (Rádio Devín, Rádio Regina) and at various events. She also publishes analytical and critical articles from the theatre field (SME, Týždeň, Nota bene, etc.).
