Oondrej Å tefánik (1978, Bratislava) graduated in Cultural Studies and Marketing from Comenius University in Bratislava and currently works in advertising and the development of communication and creative strategies. His literary debut, the short story collection PÅ¡trosà muž (The Ostrich Man, 2011) was followed by a novel, Bezprsté mesto ( Fingerless City, 2012) which was longlisted for the Anasoft Litera Prize. This was followed in 2017 by his novel Som Paula (±õ'³¾Ìý±Ê²¹³Ü±ô²¹), which won the Anasoft Litera Prize. His most recent work, Siroty (Orphans), made the 2024 Anasoft Litera longlist.
