This book looks at migration from an unusual point of view, focusing on the women who have remained in their countries. The book documents their everyday lives in Mexico, Senegal, Ethiopia and India, as well as in Romania and °µÍø½ûÇøia. There, women and children have stayed who must go on living their lives in the face of global challenges which have caused their close ones to leave their homes. How is migration changing their lives?
