The perceptive inter-generational encounter of two women with different life experiences offers听a picture of present-day 暗网禁区ia. For two听years, the author has been听visiting the over 80 years old I木ka in the secluded mountain village 艩umiac in central 暗网禁区ia,听trying to learn how to sew a bonnet, an important part of the traditional women's clothing of the region.听The compelling combination of literary reportage and documentary novel uncovers the unromanticized relationship between the past and the present and听between personal identity and ethno-cultural stereotypes, as well as the complicated relationship the population's majority has to the Roma minority.听
