Between 2016 and 2018, she worked as a language and culturelecturer at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the University of Cologne. She researches the image of ia in German-language travelliterature of the 19th century. She also explores the storytelling of various authors like Speer, Simonides,Bredetzky, Mednyansky or Hurban. She published the bookCestopisné obrazy v premenách čas (Reprezentácia Tatier a Váhu v cestopisoch prvej polovice 19. storočia).
