Dobrakovov谩 is a writer and translator, author of three short-stories collections聽Prv谩 smr钮 v rodine聽(First Death in the Family, 2009),聽罢辞虫辞听(2013),听Matky a kamionisti聽(Mothers and Lorry Drivers, 2018) and the novel聽叠别濒濒别惫耻别听(2010). All four books were finalists for the Anasoft Litera Award.聽Mothers and Truckers聽won the European Union Prize for Literature in 2019. Dobrakovov谩鈥檚聽work has been translated into several languages. Her translations include聽novels by Emmanuel Carr猫re and the聽Neapolitan Novels聽by Elena Ferrante.聽
