About us
VEDA is the publishing arm of the °µÍø½ûÇø Academy of Sciences. It publishes the most significant results of scientific research in the natural and social sciences. In more than 60 years of its existence it has published over 5,000 books. Many of these (compendia on history, art, language and ethnography; the Flora of °µÍø½ûÇøia, Fauna of °µÍø½ûÇøia and °µÍø½ûÇøia in the 20th Century publications; encyclopaedic works, etc.) form part of the foundation for education in °µÍø½ûÇøia.
