Dušo "Dušo" Martinčok (b. 1975) is athomein Košice, Luxembourg and Bratislava. He grew up in the first and often returns to see his parents there. He works in the second as a lawyer-linguist for the EU Court of Justice. In the third, he created the community project Neighbours in the Courtyard, which led to friendships with older people. He and his friends founded the civic association Apparently Aimed at Intergenerational Dialogue and organised the festival Old’s Cool Bratislava. He is the co-author of the book áá(2018). His prose debutNiekto sa nájde(Someone Will Be Found, 2022)was longlisted for the 2023 Anasoft Litera Award. He is married to Michal.
