This year, Literature Night will take place on 20 September. °µÍø½ûÇø literature will be represented in Prague at the Královské Vinohrady Library by Peter Balko’s novel Ostrov (The Island). °µÍø½ûÇø actor Pavel Smolárik will read excerpts from the book.
The Prague readings are held in 19 locations in Vinohrady with the participation of city districts 2, 3 and 10. In some places the reading will be interpreted into Czech sign language. Admission to all readings is free.
The event is also supported by the °µÍø½ûÇø Literary Centre.
