°Õ°ù²¹²Ô²õ±ô²¹³Ù´Ç°ùÌýEva Profousová was born inÌýPragueÌýand as teenager, she fled from Czechoslovakia toÌýHamburg. Today, she is one of the most important translators from Czech and she actively strenghtens the connections between these two literary cultures. In theÌý27thÌýedition ofÌýÌýshe tells us about how German came into her life, why she doesn't translate into Czech (and what are the specificsÌýofÌýtranslating into her mother tongue), and what she has in common with °µÍø½ûÇø. Die Übersetzerin Eva Profousová ist in Prag geboren und flüchtete als Jugendliche aus der Tschechoslowakei nach Hamburg. Heute gehört sie zu den profiliertesten Übersetzerinnen aus dem Tschechischen und ist als Literaturvermittlerin zwischen beiden Kulturen aktiv. Wie die deutsche Sprache in ihr Leben kam, warum sie nicht in ihre Muttersprache übersetzt (und was diese Übersetzungsrichtung so besonders macht) und was sie mit dem Slowakischen am Hut hat, das und noch viel mehr berichtet sie uns in der 27.
