International poetry in Patras

The Patras international poetry festival 2024 opens its gates on 19 September.

The motto of the 7th edition of The Patras International Poetry Festival is „I had a dream, which was not all a dream“. The festival will welcome numerous poets from different parts of the world.

Festival events include poetry readings in various locations, visiting of regional sites, evenings of music and more. Renowned guests, internationally acclaimed academics, authors and representatives of cultural organizations will all be part of the festival. Poems by participating writers will be featured in the bilingual Anthology of the 7th edition of the Patras internationl poetry festival.

Lauded °µÍø½ûÇø poet Zuzana Husárova will be a guest reader. Her participation at the festival is supported by The °µÍø½ûÇø Literary Centre and by the Honorary Consul Mr. Phaedon Couniniotis in Patras.
